The Telomeres and Telomerase Group, within the Molecular Oncology Programme, for the development of its research activity, needs to incorporate a postdoctoral fellow to identify the molecular mechanisms related with the fribotic development in kidney and liver. For the study of the role of the different cell populations in liver and kidney in the fibrosis pathology, we need to generate several “knock-outs” models of conditionals TRF1. The TRF1 deletion, specifically in cellular types in kidney and liver will allow us to characterize extensively the molecular processes that underlie to fibrosis. The mouse models generated will be studied at molecular, cellular and phenotypical level.
